Norway in a Nutshell
This unique tour offers some of the most magnificent scenery in Fjord Norway.  Combine a beautiful train ride with an equally pleasant trip by boat and bus.  You will experience the Flam line, The Aurland Fjord and The Naeroy Fjord, which is part of the well-known Sognefjord.  During the summer, you travel from Gudvangen by bus around the hairpin bends of the famous mountain roads to Voss.   This journey can be completed in one day, or take your time and enjoy the cities along the route.  Journeys must be completed two months from the date the ticket issued.

The Bergen line includes the highest stretch of train track in Northern Europe. The scenery is everchanging with views of mountains, plateaus, glaciers and forests, gently sloping meadows and mountain ridges.

The Flam line, a masterpiece of railway engineering, ascends a steep, narrow mountain valley through superb scenery of waterfalls and steep mountainsides plunging from a height of 2,952 feet into the fjord below.

The Sognefjord is the longest fjord in the world at 126 miles long and 4,251 feet deep. This is where the sea meets the snowy mountains and modern times meet the Ice Age.

Day 1 

Arrive today at Zurich Airport and transfer to picturesque Interlaken, located at the center of the Bernese Oberland. The day is yours to explore the city. 
Day 2

This is the day for your excursion on the Jungfrau Train. Enjoy spectacular views of the countryside and mountains, visit the famed Ice Palace and the Sphinx Hall with its observation terrace. Return to Interlaken this evening. 
Day 3 

Today journey through the Alps from Interlaken to Lucerne on the Brünig Panoramic Express. In Lucerne, you can spend the day sightseeing and enjoying this medieval city, its lake and mountain views. 
Day 4 

From Lucerne take the boat across the lake and transfer for a cog wheel train ride to the top of the Rigi. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from the Rigi, returning to Lucerne in the afternoon. 
Day 5

After breakfast return to Zurich. You may extend your journey with a visit to other European cities with a wide selection of DER Travel Services hotels.

Day 3

Day 4

The Greek Vergina
This exciting Greek rail and tour experience opens the door to a fascinating ancient civilization that still influences us today. The basic package offers three, five, or ten days of unlimited rail travel on the Greek Railways in first class. Three and five day packages can be used within one month, ten day packages within two months.
