Pilar from Spain
The first I saw Myra was in Spain. She lived with my family for a year.
I remember her very well she was very young and going to school in Madrid

My most memorable time with Myra, however, was running away with her
to get married. We drove to Ohio and spent a few nights there while they
tried to arrange things. One night we attempted to cook dinner in the apartment
and managed to set the curtains in the kitchen on fire and that brought
out the fire department. We went back to NJ unmarried, but it was certainly
a
trip I'll never forget, although as we get older, we all remember things
differently, so I'd be interested in hearing your mom's version.
Myra was always a wonderful and caring friend and although we haven't seen or spoken to each other much in the last few years, she'll always be a very special part of my life and I hope this birthday year is wonderful and there'll be many more celebrations with special friends and family.
