Cherry Blossums
This is a view of the cherry trees in bloom that line the Meguro River. We walk across this river every day on the way to work. The trees are just beginning to blossum. We saw them in probably 80% of full blossum before we left on our vacation with Bob & Eileen to Thailand. They were very beautiful. The town makes a big deal out of the blossums. Cute little lighted Japanese lanterns were hung all along the river and the road along the river was closed one Sunday to allow everyone to peacefully walk along the shores and enjoy the trees in blossum.
