In addition to Seth, Eileen very much helped Tara through her 37 hours of no labour. We knew Eileen would add much needed humour, support, and companionship to Tara's birth ordeal when we asked if she'd be our birth coach. We're very glad she shared the experience with us. To sum it up in a classic quote from Eileen to Seth "I made her hungry. You made her cry.". This was said soon after Tara was told she couldn't leave the hospital on September 28th. Eileen commented that she needed lunch and was going to Davie Street vs. Seth commented that Tara would never go back to her apartment since they were moving out the next day. The only disappointing part about having a C-section was that only Seth was allowed in the operating room and post-op nursery.
